Glass has embellished our lives for years, providing function, aesthetics, and collectible art. Material properties have allowed for, the ever loved 'bong'; a filtration apparatus generally used for smoking tobacco, cannabis, or other herbal substances.
The 'bong', arrived here in the west around the early to mid 1940s but was recorded in early eastern societies since the 16th century. Constructed from any air and water tight vessel by adding a bowl and stem, 'bongs' are mostly made of glass but not limited to this material...it's simply the best.
The glass 'bong' was devised from understanding the working property of glass and the apparatus produced; glass blown to serve a purpose. Creative drive then gave birth to designer art.
The 'bongs' of today are masterpieces!!! Artist with superb talent take their skill and creativity to a new level. Taking pride in their hand-blown art, developing brands to choose from.
